I have at least an outline of the thing I mentioned a month or so ago.

People here might get a kick out of this:

I'd be interested in hearing from anybody who actually writes computer games and would be interested in working on this project.

I don't have a clue. Its probably some kind of flash animation or something.

There are probably some boards better suited to finding people who know how to make games. I don't know them but it can't be too hard to google for them. I would love to see how it comes along once it gets started though.

I have helped in a few addon projects for Operation Flashpoint as a beta tester and occasional texture maker but that is the extent of my game making knowledge and experience.

I lost the image program I used and I am just now starting to learn GIMP, which is vastly more complex than Micrografix Photomagic and I will need a lot of time to learn how to use it, much less make bumpmaps and normal maps that a lot of the new graphics engines use these days, so I would not be of much help.

Blender is an open-source 3D Studio Max. Both are high end programs used by professionals. As a result it has a lot of bells and whistles and a steep learning curve.

I got Daz3D about a week ago. It is similar to Poser. You take a basic human figure and shape it into your own character. But even that has a steep learning curve (shaping the model is not so bad. Setting surfaces and lighting so that it looks non-crappy is!)
