I just got done reading Boom Town in Ongoing Stories. It is a good hook that makes you wonder just what it was that Cal G Johnson knew.

I rewrote the third part. Introducing a character, with a name this time.

There you go, now you have a named character and you now know something about him too.

That was awesome. I really liked the idea of a nation-wide militia movement.

Hmmm. Some top notch writing Floyd. Are you going to finish this one?
But yeah, it reads just as well as any other....hmmm...political thriller? Action yarn? Or anything else on the book shelves. Whatever it ends up being, make sure you have some skirts in it.
Bang it out and submit it to your agent.

Sorry I was gone for the weekend. I just got done reading Boomtown. I think this is your best writing yet. I hope you stick with it.

Thanks. I think I'll do a few more parts before I go back to Earth Czar and Crashed! I think going back and forth is actually working for me. Strange as that sounds.

I just read the new entries in Boom Town. Great stuff. I would suggest putting in some dissent in the NCOs and lower tier officers of the National Guard when the stuff really hits the fan. Things like resignations over being given outwardly illegal orders. Of course, maybe the Covenant was prepared for that in some way, and they have international 'peacekeepers' as a backup plan or something.

That is a good idea, when it comes around to that. Possibly even a clash between National Guard and Mililtia.
