I was skimming through the Hulu website and I saw the original Incredible Hulk... and I got an idea.
What if a scientist was being pursued for a terrorist attack he did not comit and had to die... he grows a body in a lab and switches. So he is declared dead, they have his body and everything.
The crime is pinned on him but he is determined to prove his innocence now that he is considered dead. The government is using his death to cover up a Muslim conspiracy with connections to the top levels of government.
Every time he has to change bodies he loses more of himself (I guess in this scenario he could even use female bodies sometimes, so the star of the show gets uppity and gets replaced easily haha).
He has to find proof of the real crime before he/she totally loses their original self. I guess these bodies won't last more than a few years or something. Someone would have to figure out a way to fit that in.
Every time he gets too close though they shut him down and pursues him(or her) and forces another change. The Total Security State being able to track people easily, so changing bodies happens far too often. Causing him to have to leave messages for his new self.
I dunno. Just thought it would make an interesting TV series.

I think that is a neat idea.

I would call the TV series... "Anonymous"

"Anonymous" might be the next story I try to write. Maybe a short story treatment. Who knows if it'll be any good.

ugh.It would all start with a massive terrorist attack (I dunno what city that should be, DC?), with the government immediately blaming a genetic scientist who they say was one of the lead members of an anti-government organization. Meanwhile national martial law is imposed and opponents of the government are subject to arrest at any time.
The scientist though, as found a way to grow new bodies, not clones and to move his conciousness into them. This allows him to abandon his body and be dead before government agents arrive. But everytime he changes body some of his "self" disappears.
His main goal is to clear his name, or his former name and expose the whole incident as a power-grabbing coup. Everytime his new self comes onto the radar of the enemy though, he has to decide whether it is too risky to stay or change bodies. Changing bodies risks his original self being erased totally.

I would definitely suggest DC. Being the heart of federal government, it would give the government the most drive to declare martial law and do the einsatzgruppen thing.
The guy should watch how he acts in his new bodies too. He would have to change how he does everything, even the way he walks and his body language to throw off CIA types and others skilled at picking people out.

I bet there would be some serious adjustment time there.
