So what are your favorite authors? We all take at least a little inspiration from them in our writing.
My favorite authors are Robert A Heinlein, Ayn Rand, Robert Ludlum and Mathew Reilly.
I have read that John Ringo leans to the conservative side, so I recently got one of his books.
ON EDIT:
John Ringo's novel Ghost Is awesome! Excellent military thriller with a cool anti-hero, great battle scenes, and lots of conservative points made throughout.

Isaac Asimov is one of mind. Heinlein of course is up there, as is Orson Scott Card.
sorry I was away from the internet for so long!

John Ringo writes mostly sci-fi, but this book and the other two in the Paladin of Shadows series take place in current times, surrounding the adventures of an ex-Navy SEAL who takes matters into his own hands.
