My Business Communications class had me write about a writer whom I felt a rapport with and one that I did not. I chose Orson Scott Card for the first, and Winston S Churchill (The River War, 1902) as one I didn't. I still like him and the book, of course. The River War is available for download at gutenberg.org

I never knew Winston Churchill wrote any books. I see The River War is about a conflict in Sudan between the British and the jihadists who wanted to conquer Egypt and drive out the 'infidels.'

Not to be confused with the other Winston Churchill I guess. They were born and died a few years apart.

The OTHER Winston wrote a multi-volume story about the Civil War... like a soap opera or something called THE CRISIS.... among other things. That one is an American I think.
