I have always wondered whether I would like Sim City but I never tried it. I am thinking of buying Sim City 4 Deluxe edition. I know its kind of old, but its probably cheap too.
There are sites online that claim to offer it for free download but this cannot be legal IMO. Not that anyone seems to care about that but me.
Have you tried it?

Some developers release older games for free, but they usually announce it on their official websites. I went and looked at the official Sim City 4 site and I have seen nothing about it being free. The game is moddable though, and you can download user-created addons for the game or make your own.
I have never tried any of the Sim City games. But if it's cheap then maybe I will give it a try.
I do wish there was like a 'Sim Spaceship' where you design a scientifically accurate interstellar or interplanetary ship and manage the mission and crew.

Some of those cities look pretty cool. Some of them get very large.

Even thought the creator sounds like an anal-retentive liberal, he did put together quite the big city

I got the money but I guess there are more important things than SC4 right now. Afterall, DDO is free, I can live with that a while.
